Direct the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to take any action necessary to air Season 4 of Downton Abbey ASAP!

Created by A.L. on March 24, 2013

The British television series "Downton Abbey" has taken America by storm. Season 3 of Downton Abbey premiered on ITV in Britain on September 16, 2012. However, we Americans had to wait until January 6, 2013 for the debut on PBS's Masterpiece Classic.

ITV has commissioned a fourth season of the show, which began filming in March, 2013. We, the American People, cannot tolerate another four month delay between the British premiere and the American debut of Season 4.

The administration should take whatever action necessary, including directing the Secretary of the Treasury to withhold funding from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting under 47 USC § 396(k), to encourage the CPB to bring Season 4 of Downton Abbey to PBS promptly so that we can be safe from spoilers!
