Direct the Department of Justice to Investigate Allegations of "Black Sites" Operated by the Chicago Police

Created by M.H. on February 24, 2015

Allegations have been made recently that the Chicago Police Department operates a "black site" called Homan Square. Persons arrested in Chicago are allegedly detained by the police without access to legal counsel and without proper documentation of their status as detainees.

If true, this may be a violation of 18 USC 242, 18 USC 241 and possibly 18 USC 14141.

The allegations are serious enough to warrant investigation by the US Department of Justice. Please direct the Attorney General (or Acting Attorney General) to begin this investigation.
