The American people have never had full closure on possible war crimes committed by the Bush-Cheney administration. Instead we received a mock-up courtroom display with the half hearted prosecution of Scooter Libby instigated by the Bush Administration and because Libby’s sentence was commuted by President Bush, in the end no-one was held accountable.
In order to move forward into the future, we have to correct the mistakes and misdeeds of the past. Our government also has to prove that this nation has one law for all of us. Mr. President, you said no-one is above the law. Do you really believe that, or was it just another great sounding sound bite and an idea quickly forgotten?
