In 2002, Dr Moskowitz published a peer-reviewed scientific paper in Diabetes Technology and Therapeutics showing that early-stage kidney failure due to diabetes or high blood pressure could be reversed. This was the first paper showing kidney failure could be reversed. Since his paper, there have been 3 more confirming that DOSE of the medication is key. We ask that Medicare, which spends $50 billion/yr on dialysis and kidney transplantation, try to prevent it instead, using Dr Moskowitz's approach. Since 2002, nobody in the kidney community, including Medicare, has wanted to lose their income. Americans continue to pay with their lives (100,000/yr) and treasure.
