Craigslist is the most popular site on the Web for advertising your vacant room, your car, apartments, well anything you have for sale. Increasingly nigerian style scammers are also working Craigslist. When I run an ad for one of our rooms, we get 100s of answers, only a handful of which are actually people looking for rooms. The rest are scammers, usually wanting to rent the room sight unseen, "dad will be making the payments, I'll need your bank account number...." etc.
We want the FBI to set up a sting operation, posting multiple ads in all categories, to try to catch some of these morons.
