Direct the FDA to reopen the decisions which put asthma inhalers back on patent and unaffordable to many Americans.

Created by R.S. on February 09, 2015

About a decade ago inhalers for asthma treatments were affordable and effective. The FDA, after having decided that the CFC chemicals in the inhalers were effective, safe and not a significant blow to the environment. In a classic case of lobbyists making laws, the FDA reversed its decisions and not the cost has soared from $15 for an inhaler to $100.

We ask that the Executive branch to ask the FDA to re-open the relevant FDA decisions which in retrospect has clearly made healthcare less affordable and accessible to a great many americans.
