The FDA has perhaps correctly determined that processed beef trimings, centerfuged and decomtaminated then added to ground beef, is safe for human consumption. However the widespread use of and lack of accurate product labeling indicating the inclusion of this material in "Ground Beef" is misleading to the point of fraud and denies Americans certain knowledge of what they are paying for and eating. Direct the FDA/USDA or responsible agency to quickly require labeling indicating the % of "Processed meat byproducts" or similar wording on ground beef and ground beef products. Take no longer than 60 days to implement.
