Direct the Federal Government to research the potential national benefit or consequence of decriminalizing marijuana.

Created by Q.M. on June 24, 2013

It has long been believed that decriminalizing marijuana would lead to increased tax revenue and a relief on the judicial system throughout the United States. We propose that a high-level report be conducted by the Government Accounting Office, the Department of Health and Human Services and the Department of the Treasury about the long and short-term benefit or consequence of the decriminalization of marijuana on a national level, with the hope that such report will be used to pursue appropriate legislation.
