Direct Indiana government to reevaluate its Natural Resources Commission's stance that allows Snapperfest to continue.

Created by M.T. on July 01, 2012

Greetings. Snapperfest is an annual event where participants torment and injure wildlife while spectators cheer the same. The spectators include children of all ages who are taught by their role models that it is ok to abuse wildlife and that it is ok to enjoy tormenting them.

Indiana's Natural Resources Commission is failing to protect native wildlife from abuse citing legal loopholes in the laws of the state. Under what law is animal abuse legal? We request the administration to step in and help the voiceless. Please visit http://www.wa2s.org/snapperfest.html for details and look at all the videos. Watch how turtles are dropped by the female competitors. Would you support this if this was your pet turtle? Please help the wild snapping turtles of Indiana. Thank you.
