Direct the Justice Department to investigate judicial misconduct by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas.

Created by D.K. on September 24, 2011

Justice Clarence Thomas has been given gifts, e.g., a bible worth $19,000 by the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank. A Dallas Real Estate broker, Harlan Crow is a major contributor to AEI. Mr. Crow is financially involved in the purchase of a building in Justice Thomas' Georgia hometown. The building will be used to house a museum, a pet project of Justice Thomas. Mr. Crow also contributed $500,000 to Justice Thomas’ wife to start her Tea Party group. AEI has filed multiple briefs to SCOTUS. Justice Thomas did not recuse himself in those issues before the court.

Justice Thomas rules on matters of financial interest to himself & his wife. He needs to be investigated for judicial misconduct. The Supreme Court needs to be free of even the appearance of bias.
