Direct more transportation dollars to sustainable projects, including mass transit and bicycle infrastructure.

Created by J.S. on September 24, 2011

For too long, the United States has neglected urban transportation issues. In an era of rising energy prices, it is time for the government to acknowledge these shortcomings and commit to investing in transportation projects that help Americans reduce their energy requirements.

Increasing mass transit and bicycle transportation options will provide countless benefits for the average American. Most importantly, transportation alternatives will allow the United States to reduce its reliance on fossil fuels. Americans will also enjoy more savings and improved health.

It is time to end policies that encourage wasteful transportation choices and commit to a future oriented around transit and sustainable development.
