This petition asks the president to direct that National Aeronautics and Space Administration to direct necessary funding and manpower to research different energy sources and propulsion systems capable of achieving faster-than-light travel. Such research and development will accelerate America's ability to eliminate dependence on foreign energy sources, and will allow for new technologies to emerge to better the life of all human beings.
