direct NASA to investigate earth like planets around solar system Gliese 667C by planning construction of a probe

Created by A.N. on June 25, 2013

In light of the discovery of 3 super earth type planets orbiting Gliese 667C, which is a low-luminosity "M-dwarf" star, NASA should be directed to begin construction of a probe designated to study this system. These super earths appear to be located in the Goldilocks zone, where planets could likely have atmospheres and liquid water. This type of project could be considered generational work to eventually explore the star which is 22 light years away. This is currently prohibitively distant to travel to, but study of this system could reveal a location that could be hospitable to human life and occupation. Therefore it would be money well spent doing an in-depth investigation of this star, these planets and the whole system; to further our knowledge of potentially habitable solar system
