Direct the National Park Service to fly the Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia over Fort Sumter National Monument.

Created by V.B. on August 16, 2013

The War between the States (WTBS) is our nation's second most important historical event, and it's results have contributed, highly, to the shape and development of the United States, its' people, and policies. The petitioners seek the government of United States to direct the National Park Service to fly the Flag of the Army of Northern Virginia (ANV) over the Fort Sumter National Monument, annually, on the first weekend of May. In a country who embraces diversity and respect for cultures, it's fair and appropriate to grant this request, so that Americans, who celebrate and honor their noble ancestor's Confederate service, can enlighten and educate the world to our unique culture, history and heritage!
