Direct the OPM to provide an identity fraud protection service to all whose info was stolen in the hacking incident.

Created by B.F. on July 10, 2015

Due to a failure to follow industry standard "best practices" for database security, and by ignoring the advice of their own auditors, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) was recently subject to the largest personal data breach in U.S. history. Approximately 21.5 million Americans had their personal data stolen, presumably by China. This data includes all the necessary data to steal an identity.

President Obama, I urge you to stand for those of us whose information has been compromised. Please direct the OPM to provide free lifetime identity protection through an industry expert (such as Lifelock) to all those whose info was compromised due to the failure of the OPM to institute proper safeguards.
