The Pentagon is evaluating eliminating U.S. Military installation commissaries as a means to reduce the overall DOD budget.
This is a valuable benefit to military personnel and military families. There are several other areas that spending can be curtailed without touching military morale and welfare services.
Mr. President, we petition you, The Commander and Chief, direct the DOD to leave the Defense Commissary Agency in place and direct the DOD to seek budget reductions elsewhere.
