We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Direct the Pentagon to stop reclaiming enlistment bonuses given by the California National Guard.

Created by J.C. on October 22, 2016

Many of our soldiers who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan are now being asked to repay thousands of dollars that were given to them as enlistment bonuses by the California National Guard. The Pentagon is allegedly at the origin of these demands, which are based on a variety of "irregularities". If there are indeed irregularities or mistakes they should be laid at the door of those California Guard officials who committed them. Instead veterans who have already sacrificed so much in their service, are being treated as if they were fraudsters and being hounded to return many thousands of dollars. http://www.latimes.com/nation/la-na-national-guard-bonus-20161020-snap-s...
We ask the President as Commander-In-Chief to require the Pentagon to cease and desist from this practice.
