The electoral college is an archaic, undemocratic system, with the potential for manipulation and override of the popular will of the people.
We the undersigned believe that the President of the United State should be directly elected by the popular vote, and call for an amendment to the Constitution eliminating the electoral college and requiring instead a direct election.
