Because Congress is deadlocked on ways to expand the Visa Waiver Program to include Poland, the President should use his executive authority to direct the State Department to accept visa applications for tourism to the US at no lower an accepance rate of 97%. By doing so, the law would not need to be rewritten.
Poland has developed dramatically as far as standard of living in the past 25 years and less than 3% overstay their visas. The embassies/consulates in Poland should be approving far more visas than they currently do. If Poles had easy access, it would lead to more of their money coming into our economy and a sign of respect for their help vis a vis Ukraine, counterterrorism, Afghanistan, etc.
