direct a study and report on which economic system, Austrian or Keynesian, has worked better in the history of Ameirca.

Created by S.B. on June 05, 2012

History makes clear the economic philosophy followed by Congress in setting budget, fiscal, and the Fed, monetary policy is absolutely critical to the long-term stability of America's economy. The reasoning is arcane but the result are very personal as anybody who has survived the 2008 recession knows very well.

The two approaches are the conservative Austrian School, (1812 - 1929, 2000 - 2009) and the Progressive alternative called Keynesian economics (1933 - 2000).

Anecdotally, the conservative approach is characterized by frequent large depressions (1929) and recessions (2008), while the Keynesian approach has less frequent, smaller recessions.

What is needed is PROOF POSITIVE that one system is detrimental to the good order of the country while the other supports it.
