The portrayal of the Irish as practiced by the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association and the University of Notre Dame, is offensive to those of Irish descent in our country. This petition is to demand that the Obama Administration direct the United States Patent Office to revoke the trademark protections of both entities and encourage them to find a less offensive mascot.
