direct the Treasury Department to superimpose an outline of the entire Constitution on the back of one-dollar bills.

Created by R.W. on January 16, 2013

Started as an 8th grade civics project in 1997, the “Liberty Bill” would superimpose an abridged version of the U.S. Constitution on the back of one-dollar bills. This would include the entire Preamble, followed by a listing of what each of the 7 Articles and 27 Amendments is about.

The Liberty Bill will:
- Save Tax Dollars
- Promote Patriotism
- Support Our Military
- Advance Human Rights
- Spread Democratic Principles

More one-dollar bills circulate in other countries than in the United States. Imagine the power of our American ideals of freedom exchanging hands around the world each day.
