Neil Armstrong was a scientist, engineer, pioneer, pilot, astronaut, and explorer. He set the first foot prints on another world. This is an a accomplishment worth celebrating on a national scale. He has earned the privilege of having his life celebrated on commemorative coins issued by the US Mint. I would like to see such coins created and made for sale to the general public in gold and silver. They should each be in a one ounce weight. I suggest the patterns be chosen from entries designed by grade school and high school students living in the state of Ohio, Armstrong's home state,.
