Directed taxes.
I petition Obama administration to allow a small percentage of our federal tax to be directed to one or more government agencies that we the people choose from a list the federal government provides.
Example: the government allows .5%, and from the government approved list of government agencies two are chosen, NASA and the Department of Defence. I set the split for the two agencies as 80/20, 80% of the .5% is directed to NASA and 20% of the .5% to DOD.
People can choose to participate or not.
People pick from a list to direct taxes to or not.
People choose a percentage to direct where.
The small percentage is part of the federal taxes a person has already paid to the federal government in a year.
It a popularity contest, but that's good.
