Recent reports have uncovered the occasionally illegal and absolutely inhumane placement of traps and employment of other methods to decimate wildlife populations deemed to be "threatening".
Reported tactics include leaving traps for an extended time without checking them, leaving traps in areas the public could be exposed to, sending attack dogs to viciously kill trapped animals, and leaving lethal poisons unattended.
Not only do these methods pose a threat to the natural balance of nationwide ecosystems, they are disgustingly inhumane and pose a threat to the general public, unsuspecting house pets, and unintended wildlife.
There are numerous documented incidences of all the above, rendering the use of these methods terribly inefficient and disturbing.
