Disallow the forgiveness of medical debt in bankruptcy that exceeds the out-of-pocket maximum under the ACA.

Created by N.B. on December 12, 2013

The Affordable Care Act has finally ended the prospect of Americans going broke due to large medical bills. Any Americans foolish enough to not get health insurance should not get debt relief through the bankruptcy courts. With the subsidies that are available for low-income Americans under the ACA, there is no excuse for not being insured.
