The problem is illegal immigration. Immigrants are coming across the borders with ease and living in America without a legal citizenship. These people are able to buy homes, carry a work permit, and live in our Country. The problem matters because illegal immigrants are taking up jobs that legal born-citizen's of America are not getting. Another problem is that immigrants will most likely accept any wage; and employers want cheap labor. This results in wage depression, restrictions of wage growth, and increases the unemployment rate for Americans. The solution to this problem is simple. The government needs to get serious with immigration and ban people without a US citizenship the right of working in America. Allowing immigration comes along with the fading of a powerful nation.
