In Mississippi, the state governor is creating complicated and complex new standards to shut down abortion clinics. We as women deserve to have the choice of an abortion or not, as well as things that prevent pregnancy in general, such as easy access to birth control and emergency contraception drugs. The Federal government needs to step in and stop states from implementing this kind of thing, because women have reproductive rights.
With easier access to birth control and a better sex education, unplanned pregnancies can be prevented. But in this age where women aren't getting what they need, abortion is an option we should be allowed to have.
Protect women's rights to their own reproductive system regardless of religion and personal beliefs of the state officials.
