Disallow THC testing from pre-employment urinalysis exams in the state of California where medicinal Marijuana is legal.

Created by M.I. on November 04, 2011

Why should potential employers be allowed to continue to discriminate against medicinal marijuana patients in California? Should the users of this prescription medication be denied employment any more than the users of sleep aid medications and non-asprin pain releivers? Why not test for opiates and stimulants, toxins known to be related to the use of known schedule 1 narcotic substances, and leave the door open for employment to citizens who are more likely getting a good nights sleep, having a good breakfast and a cup of coffee on the way to work...?
In conclusion all I ask is a simple consideration, from one very talented, unemployed medicinal marijuana patient out here in a desolate job market looking to make ends meet, to my future employers who may be overlooking a company asset.
