Disallow the use of super-delegate voting at the 2016 Democratic National Convention

Created by R.K. on March 30, 2016

Super-delegate voting privilege used in the Democratic Party's nominating process for the office of President of the United States of America is unjust and undermines the integrity of the American democracy. The use of super-delegates in the primary voting process creates an oligarchy in which the will and voice of the American people is suppressed. The opinion and influence of a few party leaders should not override the collective majority decision of the American voters.

Therefore, we the people, call on President Obama, the figure-head of the Democratic Party, to publicly address the leaders of the Democratic Party to change party rules to disallow the use of super-delegate voting at the 2016 Democratic Party National Convention and all future conventions.
