Disarm the government first then we will disarm. You go first, why do we have to go first over the cliff?

Dear Obama,
In addition to disarming the government first, I propose a clear and concise explanation as to why the Department of Homeland security is procuring vast amounts of ammunition and military technology and at the same time wanting to confiscate our guns.
This seems rather convenient timing and it may all just be a coincidence. Nonetheless it is something that must be addressed, as the majority of Americans will not tolerate "door knockers" trying to take our guns while they "police troopers" are heavily armed as well
Despite media spin the vast majority of Americans are against the gun control and infringement of OUR 2nd Amendment.
