Mr. Obama, I am writing this petition as a member of the city of Roseburg, OR. Before passing anymore unconstitutional laws making it more difficult for law abiding citizens to protect and defend themselves, as it is an inalienable right afforded to us and ratified by the constitution of these united states, I call on you to disarm your ARMED security detail as well as every politician and their families and be as "protected" as the general populace. Passing more gun laws do not stop criminals. By nature criminals disobey the law. Look at your hometown of Chicago and Washington D.C. Some of the strictest gun laws in the nation with the highest crime rates per capita. Then take a long hard look at Kennesaw, GA! Pass laws allowing personal protection without fear of maliscous prosecution.
