Disarming law abiding citizens only makes the criminals more powerful.

In light of the recent tragedy in Conn., we need to be wary of the fear of the situation. It is a terrible, horrendous act created by one particular individual. Ultimately understand that guns and weapons do not kill by themselves. To blame the instrument is an ignorance to the real problem. Criminals will become criminals no matter the situation. There are millions of Americans who RESPONSIBLY own firearms for the sole purpose of protecting their families and the innocent. Disarming these law abiding citizens only leaves us more vulnerable and susceptible to future tragedies.
