Capitol Hill has created a high-school like atmosphere fostering corruption in the form of back-room deals, back-scratching favors, non-communicative clicks and vengeful decision making.
These factors work in opposition to serving the American people. These officials are not elected to go to DC and play political games!
It is important that our officials be called back home! They behave like children who seem to need adult supervision so lets give it to them. If we disband Capitol Hill and create a place for each lawmaker to "work from home", in their own districts via video conference and other means; we can keep an eye on them to ensure they continue serving our interests.
This will also make lobbying much more difficult, which I consider a bonus, not to mention money saved on travel.
