As time passes, the people keep discovering more lies and deceit by the government, who has shown a complete disregard for any people.
There is no line the CIA and NSA doesn't cross for the sake of protecting us from "terrorism". Not only do they conduct widespread mass surveillance on its citizens with no probable cause for any crimes, but the CIA has and keeps conducting crimes against humanity. Their extensive torture methods include rectal feeding, dehydration, confinement in a box, waterboarding, sleep deprivation, forced nudity, and restricted diets. And not only do they lie about this, they destroy records proving it. Thanks to the patriot act, US citizens can be subjects to this type of torture.
The government does not seem to realize the deep hole it's digging itself in.
