Members of the Congress and Senate will make very public statements denouncing organizations or entities that discriminate based on someones race, ethnicity, or the color of skin, yet at the same time are are active in caucuses in the governmental bodies which allow members inclusion based solely on race, ethnicity or skin color.
Members of both houses should be setting an example and taking the lead on dissolving the discriminatory nature of these caucuses. In any public setting, a club, business or organization which discriminated based on these factors would be rightfully protested. The governing bodies of our Nation should be held to the same standard and lead by example. Race based discrimination for membership of any club, including these caucuses should be banned.
