Despite the noble goals of the "War on Drugs", it is an obvious failure. The DEA and the "War on Drugs" are effectively inseparable entities. They are also both in obvious and flagrant violation of the first amendment.
The DEA is completely ineffective at stopping the flow of drugs. They have also been at the forefront of a number of major blunders of international policy, the most recent being the Mexican cartel gun debacle.
The DEA also costs $2.4 billion per year, and we got along just fine without it before 1973.
Stop wasting money on this garbage.
