Disband the electoral college

The electoral college is out of date. It was created when it took weeks or months to travel across the country to conduct a national election.
Many Americans feel the electoral college system no longer reflects the will of the people. When delegates and super-delegates can subvert the popular vote, this should no longer exist.
Yes, this would require a change in the Constitution but would result in more fair, more honest and less expensive elections.
