Twice in less than 20 years the majority of Americans have voted to elect one person to the highest office in the land only to have their majority vote ignored in favor of an antiquated system called the Electoral College. We can pretend that we need to come together as Americans and hope President-elect Trump does right by the American people, but we know he will not. Too many people woke up this morning afraid to be Americans. We shouldn't have to be afraid to be Americans for the next 4 years. Disband and do away with the arcane Electoral College and give Americans the popular vote candidate.
