Disband the Electoral College and it's 538 representatives, and restore a true election system. The Electoral College was designed originally to ensure each state received fair representation and voice in the Presidential election, this is no longer a necessity.
The U.S. citizens are mislead to believe that the Presidential election is solely dependent on their vote, when in fact it is based on the votes of 538 representatives. Restore a system where the candidate who receives the popular vote is elected. In the event of a tie between two or more candidates, a panel consisting of 13 members selected by a lottery system at time of voting shall cast a secondary ballot consisting of only the tied candidates within one standard business week. Repeat the process in the event of a two way tie.
