Disband the Electoral College system in order to allow for a popular vote election

Currently our nations president can be decided with as little as 1/4 of the popular vote. This was first initiated because our founding fathers thought the majority of people did not receive enough information on candidates outside of their state to make an informed decision. This is untrue of today's voters who have access to vast quantities of information on any candidate they see fit to research. Please join in taking action against this outdated system
