We the People do hereby petition the United States Government to draft & enact legislation that would disband the Electorate College and therein prevent it from playing any role, whatsoever, in any & all elections held in any locations residing in the jurisdiction of the United States Federal Government.
The Electorate College was established upon the birth of the Union to make the counting of election results easier, in a period of time when counting by hand and tallying every single result was a lengthy, if not downright impossible, task. With the advent of technology, however, this is no longer required & has proven to have dying public support and can even have troublesome impacts on national elections. (i.e. Florida, 2000)
Let the people decide, forever more, via popular vote.
