Disband Political Parties and Institute a Replacement Public Office Nomination System

Many of the United States' Founding Fathers strongly advised against the emergence of Political Parties. The people however, did not listen, and while we as citizens have a freedom to congregate and belong in this country, parties allow for and encourage hate against one another. Even within the individual parties, members are forced to reinforce the position their party has always held true or risk never holding public office again. The only thing anyone can seem to agree on is the name of these factions! The power they hold must be disbanded. People should be able to vote on the politicians that hold their values close, not on the one backed by the rest of their group. Of course with this, a small change in elections, more specifically nominations, will need to be instituted.
