Discharge and forgive all federal student loan debt for each individual over $25,000.00.

Created by R.K. on November 15, 2012

In order to promote a robust economy, to spur small business creation, to lower health care and other costs, and to aid the poor in affording a quality education. This administration and specifically the President should sign an executive order discharging and forgiving all federal student loan debt after the first $25,000.00 for each student or parent.

This would not only have the effect of promoting recent graduates to establish small businesses, it would encourage more volunteerism and community work as the students would not be strapped with excessive loans. It would lower the costs in many industries such as in both the legal services and the medical services fields as Doctors and Attorneys would be open to a greater range of competition without loans.
