Discharge Director of National Intelligence James Clapper for willfully misleading Congress about NSA surveillance.

Created by D.Z. on June 12, 2013

President Obama: We petition you to discharge James Clapper from his position as Director of National Intelligence. In testimony under oath before a congressional committee, Mr. Clapper intentionally misled Senator Ron Wyden of Oregon about the form and extent of American surveillance activities. While this untruth may or may not amount to perjury, there is no doubt that Mr. Clapper has lost all credibility with Congress and the public, who will henceforward refuse to believe any of his statements on behalf of your administration. He must be removed from office.
