The Government can bail out companies and banks who get into financial difficulty in order to help our economy yet it cannot bail out the very people who make America who it fundamentally is. Educators. I propose that the government discharge student loans (especially from Sallie Mae) for people who have been in the field of education (regardless of shortage area) for at least the past ten years and send students who want to go into education for free in order to create jobs and to help out our economy and the undue financial burdens placed on educators.
