Disclose data on police involved homicides to allow academic, social, and public review on police use of force.

Created by N.V. on November 25, 2014

There is growing public discussion about the use of force by police, and growing concern and criticism that police are using excessive force.

Unfortunately, there is a vital piece of data that is not available for public nor academic review: How often does the government kill people?

Are shootings incidents or homicides by police increasing or decreasing? The FBI, GOA, and DoJ, do not have the statistic available for academic research on the topic, and no discussion can reasonably continue without the statistic being publicized.
