In times of extreme budget deficit shortfall, we learned that the the first lady and daughters' one trip to Spain last year cost the tax payer's $20 million. As we applause for President Obama is returning 5% of his annual salary to share the pain of the sequestration (that $20,000 /year), we petition the president to disclose the total cost of tax payer's $$$ for the first family every year and look for ways to reduce that (e.g., limit use of Air Force one, fewer trips to HI for family vacation).
To let the first lady and family be more aware of the total cost, they should pay a certain % of copay (let's say 1%) the total cost.
Lead by example, not words, cut wasteful spending while most American's are cutting back.
