Discontinue blanket church tax exemption and continue it on a church by church basis.

Created by W.M. on December 05, 2012

With the ending of blanket church tax exemption, the Federal Government should create a new regulatory body within the government. This new regulatory body should look at each church individually and determine whether it should be tax exempt. Those that make a large enough amount of money should be taxed and audited in the manner of a business. This would keep the churches that make large amounts of money honest and show donators where the money goes. This would better regulate the massive money flow from churches. This regulatory body would in now way control what the churches say or do, it would simply watch over the financial aspects of the church.
