Discontinue DV (Diversity Visa) lottery program and only grant visa who contribute positively towards US development.

Created by S.B. on September 23, 2013

US has been providing permanent residency (green card) to 55000 people every year from across the globe since 1995 as part of the (Diversity Visa) DV lottery program. Anyone from any country (except China, India, Pakistan and few others) can apply and get the green card based on his/her luck. This kind of program should either be discontinued immediately or modified significantly. It allows people with no merit (education, social, etc) wise to enter US and be a burden on our country. We do not want people who are lucky in getting the visa. Suggested approach is to only allow people who are academically /socially /economically strong who can contribute positively to the development of country.
